Engineers In Heels is a community-focused organization dedicated to empowering students and future leaders through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education, mentorship, and engagement. Our mission is to inspire curiosity, creativity, innovation, and confidence by creating hands-on learning experiences, community events, and industry partnerships that connect students and families to real-world STEAM opportunities.

Counting to Calculus

A progressive mathematics program that helps students strengthen core skills, build confidence, and move from foundational concepts to more advanced problem-solving through engaging, age-appropriate instruction.

STEAM Fairs

An interactive event that brings science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to life through hands-on activities, demonstrations, challenges, and opportunities for students to learn directly from profession

Engineering Exposure

A program designed to introduce students to real-world engineering fields, careers, tools, and problem-solving experiences so they can better understand where engineering can take them.

Global STEM Exchange

A cross-cultural learning initiative that connects students, educators, and STEM professionals across countries through shared projects, virtual collaboration, knowledge exchange, and global learning experiences.

Charity Ikpe, based in St. Louis, MO, US, is currently a Founder at Engineers In Heels.

Charity Ikpe brings experience from previous roles at Boeing and Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc.. Charity Ikpe holds a 2019 – 2019 Technical Leadership Certificate @ Washington University McKelvey School of Engineering. With a robust skill set that includes Mission Operations, Satellite Command & Control, Satellite Systems, Project Management, Technical Leadership and more.

Charity Ikpe founded Engineers in Heels after seeing how limited exposure, mentorship, and access can keep talented students from ever considering engineering or other technical fields.

She wanted to create the kind of early opportunity that can change what a young person believes is possible for their future.
